Swallowtail Studios
After 6 years of military service, Kara has turned to art as a form of healing. Now she explores the various combinations of surreal feminine and dark subject matters to show the connection of two seemingly different sides that are of the same coin.
“We rarely stop to think that it’s possible for us to exist in more than one box at a time. Darkness and light or masculine and feminine. I want my pieces to show the multiple sides that not only I experience, but I’m sure others experience as well and hopefully someone else finds the same peace in it that I do.”
